Sacred geometry is a bridge between the seen and unseen; the quantitative and qualitative; the finite and infinite. It is a universal language that describes the inner workings of nature and the intrinsic order of the universe. It is the natural sanction that unites all forms of life: from microbes, plants, animals and humans to the motions of the planets and stars.

Jonathan Quintin’s quest as an artist is to provide various modalities that help attune human consciousness to the harmony of universal order. He shows how the shapes, patterns and forms of sacred geometry are harmonic keys that can help align mind-body-spirit in a state of higher consciousness.

Sacred geometry has been used for thousands of years for a process known as “the journey home” – moving closer to Source and unity consciousness through the alignment of our senses with the harmonic shapes and forms that develop from uniform divisions of the circle and sphere.

The multi-media presentation includes a set of spinning fluorescent models demonstrating various universal laws at play and revealing a profound order that exists in 3D geometry.

Damanhur at the Ojai Foundation

Project Butterfly and The Ojai Foundation invite you to a presentation by Shama Viola of Damanhur.

Founded in 1975, the Federation of Damanhur www.damanhur.org in Italy is now an internationally renowned center for spiritual, artistic and social research. Damanhur is an eco-society, a Federation of Communities and eco-villages with a continuously evolving social and political structure. Recently recognized by the UN as a model for global eco-villages, Damanhur is located in the foothills of the Italian Alps, north of Turin, and is highly organized and integrated community dedicated to the unification of art spirituality and technology.

Damanhur has just over one thousand citizens, 44 communities, a social and political structure, a Constitution, schools, a daily paper and its own currency (as the same value as the Euro). The Damanhurians are known for having built the world's largest underground temple called The Temples of Humankind. Composed of vast corridors that lead to astonishing and enormous inner temples filled with wall to wall art. The Temples of Humankind consist of the full range of various metals, gemstones and colors constructed into remarkable sculptures, fantastic murals and elaborated stained glass, including the largest Tiffany stained glass cupolas in the world. Deep within the inner structure of the Temples is a highly intricate system of "Selfic technology" composed of 300 tons of detailed energy-conducting circuits, connections and pathways made of virtually every mineral and metal known.

In this introductory presentation, we will have the opportunity to discuss how to build a community using the experience of the Federation of Damanhur as a practical example. And to learn about the social, spiritual, economic, political and organizational implications of community life.

SHAMA VIOLA (MANUELA TERRALUNA)

Shama lived in the USA from 1968 to 2001. Those 33 years were dedicated to art, spirituality, as well as to learning and teaching conscious growth processes. Her life was exciting and full, from the six years spent working with Francis Ford Coppola to the ones that she lived, worked and traveled with Shakti Gawain, to the lovely years spent in the Hawaiian Islands. In 2001, answering a strong soul’s calling, Shama returned to her native Italy to become a Citizen of Damanhur. The Federation of Damanhur is world famous for their underground Temple of Humankind

Shama has spent these past eight years participating in Damanhur’s practical approach to sacredness, rituals, and conscious living.

Inspired by the Damanhurian Sacred Language, she has created ‘Bral Talej’. This new divination system uses Damanhurian symbols to define a uniquely powerful and beautiful expression that she shares through her courses and readings. Shama travels through Europe and the US to present Damanhur, its courses, and to teach this new divination system. Gifted with natural intuition and innate wisdom she shares her gifts also in individual readings.
