In the Heart of this City of Angels, we will gather in a ceremonial space as a Tribe of community leaders to awaken to the call of the Spirit within, to celebrate and honor the entrance of Spring, and to plant the seeds of our Bigger Vision for this Year of the Golden Tiger.

Eric Baumgartner will be discussing the prophesies of the Tribes of the Americas, Hopi, Maya, Inka, as well as the Taoist Shamanic roots of Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine… and how we can apply them to our personal mission as Warriors of Light. Participants will receive a Shamanic Acupuncture treatment and be guided through a Dream Journey to heal the source of our separation from nature and from each other as members of a Tribe. We will step back into the Garden of Eden, and into the dance of Sacred Relationship.

Eric Baumgartner L.Ac. is a Master of Acupuncture and East/West Herbalism , and a Medicine Man trained extensively in the healing traditions of the Americas, Aztec, Cherokee, Toltec, Maya, Inka... He has lived and worked with shamans around the world to build community and integrate the essence of Tribal living into the modern urban lifestyle. He is a global authority in plant medicines and helped design the First Full Spectrum Green Farmacy in Venice. He is also the Founder and Director of Urban Remedy, a Community Acupuncture and Wellness Center dedicated to bringing these indigenous medicine traditions to heal the Urban community. He is currently developing a new healing retreat center in Ojai, Ca, where he will be hosting retreats, vision quests, and trainings in the shamanic arts in 2010.

This event marks the 3rd of a series of 7 class/workshops comprising Yoga Sadhaka Training, to be held once a month culminating in June of 2010. Sadhaka is a Sanskrit term for "practitioner." The aim of this course is to train individuals in becoming practitioners of the Yogic path, in order to access the depth of wisdom it's traditions have to offer.

Serge Berliawsky has been studying and practicing the yogic arts of India & Tibet for over a decade, and teaching for the past 9 years. Serge’s teaching draws on his knowledge of asana (postures) as integrated with ayurveda, and blends together elements of his extensive training in Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, Rudra Yoga, Kundalini, and traditional Hatha Yoga. In addition to teaching Serge continues to study Yogic philosophy, Tantric Buddhist meditation practice and Puja (ceremony). He is also a DJ, collector of rare records, and owner/designer of Sahaja, a Japanese-couture influenced luxury menswear line located in Los Angeles, CA (www.SahajaAtelier.com).
