MAX the Ancient Crystal Skull

Project Butterfly presents an evening with MAX, one of the 13 ancient crystal skulls of the world, hosted by Aravel Garduno [ www.crystalskullfoundation.org ] and JoAnn Parks, MAX’s caretaker. They will be sharing information about MAX followed by a meditation with MAX.

At 18.2 pounds, MAX is the largest of the known authentic ancient crystal skulls. The British Museum and many other archaeological authorities consider Max to be one of the rarest artifacts ever found. Estimated to be at least 10,000 years old, MAX was found in a tomb in St. Augustine, Guatemala between 1924 and 1926. MAX was used by Mayan priests for healing and prayer.

Norbu Chen, a powerful healer of the Tibetan sect of Red Hat Lamas, traveled to Guatemala in the 1950’s to study with these Mayan priests. The Mayans gave Max to Chen when he departed so he could use it in his journey as a healer. Before the lama died, he gave the cherished crystal skull to JoAnn Parks, the current custodian for MAX.

JoAnn has traveled with MAX around the world providing an experience with him for small groups. Many who have touched MAX have had instantaneous healings, received information about the origins of civilization, seen visions of other worlds, heard unusual sounds and/or expanded psychic abilities.
